A creation of the expert British Close Up magician, Peter Kane. When first released in the 1960s, this simple packet trick caused a sensation. It instantly became one of the top selling tricks of its era. Since then it has continued to be performed by magicians the world over, with many variations. This version, is relatively easy to perform and based on the original principle.
The effect uses nine cards - eight of a kind and one indifferent (the 'wild card'). The eight cards are displayed and placed onto a table, while the 'wild card' is retained by the magician. Now, by brushing the 'wild card' over the indifferent cards, one by one they magically and instantly, transform into duplicates of the wild card.
Cards & routine supplied.
