Possibly the best and most entertaining packet trick ever. <p>Telling a humorous story of the day you met a street gambler in New York, you show three cards. Two have a red diamond on the face, whilst the third shows a blue diamond. You explain that you're going to show what happened when you played against the street gambler. You continue, explaining that the gambler said to you that if you can find the blue spot you win a dollar: if you're wrong, you lose a dollar. <p>What follows is a fast paced routine where you consistently loose, much to the spectators amusement. The blue card seems to be everywhere you say it can't be. Then it's not there at all, in fact now the red card is everywhere you say it can't be. By this time you seem to have lost seven dollars!<p>Next you state that the gambler gave you a chance to get even double or nothing. One card is shown with a blue spot. The second card is shown to have a red spot. To double your money you had to guess the colour of the third card. You said that knowing your luck it would be part red part blue, probably purple. Naturally you were wrong and when the card is turned over, it has a large $14.00 sign in green. Precisely the colour and amount of money you now owe.<p>This is a hugely entertaining routine using only two simple moves plus of course the beautifully printed cards on bicycle stock.

The Effect:
The performer shows a wallet with a small square in the middle. A mirror, attached to a ribbon is passed around for inspection, then inserted into the wallet. A die (singular for dice) is also inspected. The die is placed in the square in the wallet, then, bit by bit, it very slowly sinks until it completely penetrates the mirror and drops to the floor. Performer pretends to remove a pack of cards from his pocket.
Removing imaginary cards from the case, shuffles cuts, even allowing a spectator to cut the invisible cards! The performer then requests the spectator to remove any imaginary card. Performer now turns deck face up, having selected card replaced face down, spectator remembering an imaginary card. Performer acts out replacing the deck into a case and returns same to his pocket. THERE ARE MANY INFERIOR COPIES OF THIS. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL AND BEST. You are, quite simply, just going to love using this! A beautiful small wooden box is placed in full view on the table. A card is then freely selected from a deck (can be borrowed) and signed by the spectator. After the card is returned to the pack, the Magician asks if the spectators think he could find the card in less than ten seconds. Holding the cards behind his back for a few seconds, he brings the deck out - announcing that he has found the card.<p>And guess where it is .... unbelievably the spectator lifts the lid off the box and sees a folded card inside. The card is tipped from the box and given to the spectator, who unfolds the card to reveal that it is their own signed card!! The box is left empty on the table once the card is removed. IMPOSSIBLE!
